Alpine is growing, and residents deserve decisions they can actually follow: clear agendas before votes, infrastructure-aware growth, and fees or costs that are explained before people get hit with them.
Residents should be able to understand what is being voted on, what changed, which comments attach to which issue, and how to weigh in before decisions are made.
Alpine needs housing and opportunity. I’ve been researching Alpine’s growth, water, sewer, and infrastructure, and I want to be fair: the Town has been doing a lot of work to put Alpine in a better position than before. Once these projects are done, Alpine should be better prepared for growth, emergency power outages, and infrastructure stress.
Fees, budget moves, and spending commitments should be explained clearly before residents and businesses are hit with consequences.
